HAND FOR THE SEASON
As we travel from runways to festival we keep running into fashion tragedies so figured we'd take it upon ourselves to lend a hand for the season with the great F word...yes we mean Fashion take your mind out of the gutter. After all we believe in team effort and know one can make magic happen with a little direction.
With literally hundreds of shows across the globe-mainly four cities trying to discern between thousands of new trends might seem like the impossible or daunting to say the least. Here at Rockers Movement we did our best to simplify it for you by selecting from the fashion trends that made the biggest impact on the runways of New York, Milan, Paris and London. Whether you're looking for pointers for your wardrobe or hitting the music festivals for the spring and summer all can be had here keeping your style fresh and up to date for the season.
As follows are our findings and recommendations:
The trouser suit a perennial mainstay is back with a twist- or should I say a turn- a full 180 from cowboy and twine additions at Celine to shimmering pinstripes at Chanel this season you can discard the shoulder pads.
Bohemian Evening makes the evenings more romantic with big names like Valentino, Vera Wang while Joseph Altuzarra lessened up or should I say down with curvilinear for softer looks
Denim Americas favorite fabric is back, used in coats, dresses, pants, jumpsuits dark washed, laced or bedazzled adds to this mainstay for a fresh look.
Weddings: The spring and summer months being the most popular season for nuptials are amass with new ideas, with lace returning in beautiful ways, with thigh grazing mini dresses at Louis Vuitton and Chloe and a contemporary spin on Victorian from Erdem.
Suede seventies mood is in the air with trench coats A-line skirts, boot cut pants all can be had with a soft touch of suede.
Flower prints big and beautiful or minute and abstract flower power is boldly feminine and not going nowhere it's here to stay.
Midriff baring; A little skin, crop top and lady like skirts with subtle flashes of flesh turn true and tried evening options into something modern.
New festival girl: Printed Chiffon, lace baby doll dresses relaxed fit print trousers, long flowing vests all guarantees a hit at the music festival scene.
Accessories: The IT bag is back after an era of less - clutches and wristlets-2015 spring has brought back the IT back Milanese and Parisian fashion houses drew on their archives you can expect to see Gucci and Christian Dior logos as you've never seen before, the trend for earrings are bigger sparklier pieces to to play with shoulder dusting pieces from Lowe's and the mismatched earrings from Nina Ricci is an off-kilter look to fall for albeit spring/summer
