Our Festivals are Zero Waste, 100% eco-friendly, family-oriented, fun-filled days of social consciousness, community and environmental awareness that showcase our focus on environmental sustainability alongside urgent humanitarian efforts. Keeping in the spirit of unity, attendees are asked to contribute two or more non-perishable food items as part of the cost of admission.
Families enjoy live performances of artists from diverse parts of the world reflective of our landscape, an artisan village of fine and visual arts, a food village, yoga demonstrations, bike valet, social consciousness workshops, an Artecology Experience with recycling workshops and interactive games for kids, live art, and a networking platform for green enthusiasts and environmental non-profits to present their mission.
In a committed effort towards sustainability, the Reduce, Reuse & Recycle model is implemented to prevent trash and organic materials from going into landfills and incinerators, diverting tons of waste and greatly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We also work with food vendors to collect edible food items to feed people and food scraps to feed animals.
